Ashley joined W2RO as its CEO in October of 2022. Waste to Resource Ontario (W2RO) represents the waste management, recycling, and resource recovery sectors in Ontario. We represent over 240 public and private sector organizations across the province who manage over 85% of the province’s waste and over 90% of recycling collection and processing.

W2RO members have diverse interests and investments in waste collection, landfills, transfer stations, material recycling facilities, resource recovery facilities including energy-from-waste (EFW), organics waste processing and composting, and hazardous waste recycling and safe disposal.

With over 19 years of cross-sector leadership experience, Ashley is a big picture strategic thinker that specializes in strong external partnerships. Prior to joining W2RO, Ashley has held various leadership positions in construction, finance, not-for-profit, government and academia.
