Phase 1
Project Approach
The objective of this phase is to establish a strong project foundation through close collaboration with the CEO and Senior staff, and the Board of Directors. We will confirm scope, timelines, deliverables, and communication protocols before substantive work begins, conduct an initial review of key documents, and orient participants to the strategic-planning process.
Phase 2
Environmental Scan & Organizational Review
The objective of this phase is to build a deep, evidence-based understanding of current strategic contexts, organizational performance, and operating environment, and to scan the external landscape for the opportunities, risks, and pressures that will shape the next five-year plan.
Phase 3
Stakeholder Engagement
The objective of this phase is to conduct structured, inclusive, and accessible stakeholder engagement across Board, leadership, staff, members, clients, community partners, government, and funders, province-wide.
Phase 4
Strategic Development
The objective of this phase is to translate findings from the scan and engagement into a clear, actionable draft Strategic Plan.
Phase 5
Finalization & Approval
The objective of this phase is to finalize and deliver the completed Five-Year Strategic Plan together with an implementation framework that provides the tools it needs to execute. We will provide engagement and environmental scan summaries, develop and refine the draft plan incorporating Board, leadership, and Senior staff and Board of Directors feedback, and deliver a practical implementation framework with timelines, roles, and KPIs aligned to the governance cycle.

Dr. Haniyeh Yousofpour is a Harvard-educated, award-winning global business professor and consultant, with a passion for organizational change management, influential leadership, and negotiations.
Dr. Yousofpour has provided integrative management consulting, applying her 5A methodology, to multinational Fortune 500 companies, public sector, and midsize organizations, and has helped drive change across all organizational levels. She has also provided executive and employee training to diverse teams on how to perform effectively and achieve results.
She has received multiple teaching awards for her work with global MBA and executive-level business courses and is frequently invited to be a keynote speaker on leadership, diversity management, and women’s issues.
Dr. Yousofpour is the recipient of Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Award for her service to the community and is a Board member of the Premier’s Council on Equality of Opportunity.
Sanjay is a highly rated faculty member and facilitator at Schulich School of Business who coaches and develops leaders towards performance excellence. He is the founder of “The Business Workout,” a respected process and practical approach that enables leaders to achieve growth and team effectiveness. He has also recently published his book, “Tool Box for Performance Driven Leaders”, to complement his keynotes on the topic.
With over 15 years of experience as a commercial leader in sales and marketing, Sanjay has worked with various clients across public and private sectors to develop the right strategy, align teams to organizational goals, and deliver transformative results.
